Rin listened as Vico explained how he had managed to acquired his knowledge of the mafia and the history of the organization from which the young man held. However, it was incredibly suspect. Did he really expect him to believe that some noble heir with that much history, suddenly appeared on their doorsteps? Apparently, she wasn't the only one wary of the stranger though, as the Mist Guardian proceeded to call on him out on his foolishness and with good reason. Although, his Italian earned a bit of smirk in amusement, rarely getting to hear her native tongue these days.
"Unless he's doing it intentionally. How better to drop the guard of any enemy than to play the fool?" Rin answered back in Italian, a vague warning for the Mist Guardian to keep on his toes, just in case his motives were not what they appeared. After all, how better to make a name in the mafia than killing someone from a prestigious family and sadly, Raitaro was painfully naive to the dangers he placed himself in wandering around alone. Having failed once, was he trying to worm his way into a second chance or merely sucking up to further the cause of his own family, a viable motive either way.
As usual, the boss was oblivious to the whole matter and it was all the Rain Guardian could do to keep her calm when he proceeded to inform them that his father had brought in two new guardians. Rolling the sword bag off from over her shoulder, she allowed it to fall with some amount of force aimed at the top of Raitaro's head, though with his thick skull, it was unlikely to do much damage sheathed and she didn't have to leave the porch. "VOI! Your suppose to inform of us that of that crap before you go blurting it out to random strangers. Baka!" Rin snapped in annoyance, dropping down into a sitting position as the sword bag fell back to her side comfortably.
"And don't just go making alliances with people whose names you've never heard, the word of a boss is very important and we can't afford to have you making promises your not big enough to live up to yet. Get the facts, first! Besides, for all we know, he's just an assassin playing the part." She explained, though hated the lecture Raitaro, there were few people who knew the qualities of a leader and mafia politics better than Rin. After all, while she might not have looked it, she had been groomed from a young age to take over as vice-captain of the Varia, an assassin above all other assassins. There were few people who knew the tricks of the trade better.
His question about speaking to Arashi though, earned a bit of hesitation and for good reason. Arashi might have been like an older brother to her, but she hated asking him for favors, not if she could avoid it like the plague. Then again, while the Varia Captain claimed to be seemed to be fine with Raitaro and her serving as his Guardian, Rin couldn't help recall his previous threats and somewhat protective nature. It was always awkward for her when the two were together, but she supposed it was worth asking, though couldn't discern whether that was wise given Rai's somewhat trusting and naive nature when it came to people. Seemed that had no choice, however, and while Arashi may have had his quirks, he was older than Raitaro and had already proven himself a capable leader. If anyone could help him make the right decision, she had a feeling it was him.
"Alright, I'll call him and arrange a meeting to make sure he isn't busy. If he says it's alright, then I'll go with you. I think it's best you hear the story from him and get his advice on that matter. We can decide where to go from there. I'm sure he won't mind assisting if that is what we decide to do." Rin answered, though arranging the meeting wouldn't be hard, since she had Arashi's number on her cellphone. However, even with their past, she didn't want to give him an excuse to skip out on his work, even if it was to help them and their boss reach a decision on the matter.
Her attention soon returned to Vico seriously, those crimson eyes holding a steadiness that seemed to know exactly what she was doing. "Given the age that you've suggested and that they hail from Japan, that would mean that your Yakuza. As it so happens, I've done quite a bit of research into known families. From what family do you descend? In what part of the country does your group hail? Considering that you know who we are and your the heir, you shouldn't have much of a problem answering those questions." The Rain Guardian spoke calmly, though wanted to put some pressure on him, even it seemed like the third degree. It only made sense though, even the Vongola had their roots. Besides, the more information she could gather from him now, the easier it would be to double check his background and story later, just for their own safety.

Vico blinked and looked up at the three as he tilted his head. They wanted to know how he knew about the mafia and how he was tied to it. He figured he may as well just tell him the shortened and condensed version of everything instead of, as Rai said, "edging around the subject for ages to avoid spilling the beans." "I agree with Rai. Avoiding the whole subject for what could've been an hour would've been a pain in the ass."
This, however, didn't stop Vico from quirking an eyebrow when Rai told him about his family. But what really caught his interest was the last thing he said regarding him and the mafia. "Arrested? As long as you haven't harmed any innocent civilians and killed anybody, you're okay in my book. That's the main thing my group's trying to fight against."
Then came Rin's questioning. This was going to be a pain to answer. But his dad did drill the history into his brain ever since he found out about it. That and he loved to learn everything about it. Vico just scratched his head and sighed deeply. "Oh boy... First off, my group isn't anything like yakuza. The yakuza was formed some time during the 17th century. My group's been around since a century or so before that time. Back then and for a while since then, it's been known as the White Sakura or something similar to that... And it has been the main force that ran against the yakuza for a while."
Vico crossed his arms and stared up at the sky as he thought more about his family's history. "As for family, the original founder was Fushigi Tahei, my ancestor. He was just a peasant that came across a good bunch of friends. At least, that's what he wrote in his diary. He formed the group with the said friends in the northern part of Kyushu that's not on conventional maps today. I have a whole bunch of antiques and documents from that time 'til now that would prove it, but I'd rather keep them away from the public eye."

How dare Vico ignore him - especially when he was trying to prove a point! Vico was a moron. And he shouldn't be spouting his family's history. It was just...stupid. Raitaro might be doing the same thing - but he acted idiotic enough that nobody probably believed him.
The second Rai mentioned something about bringing in more guardians, Sheeka blinked slightly. "...We really need to be more informed about these things, Rai..." he commented, no longer pouting over the fact that he'd been ignored. Although, he hadn't forgotten it. Sheeka was well-versed in how to hold grudges, after all. His head tilted to the side slightly. "Hmn...so who are these two mystery guardians you didn't think to tell us about?"
Although, at the mention of a meeting with the Varia captain, Sheeka perked slightly. He'd met the current Vice Captain of the Varia, Kaoru, and they two seemed to get along fairly well. Which was odd - Kaoru seemed to be mildly normal compared to things about the Varia he'd heard...although, Kaoru was still rather...odd anyway. Actually...everybody was odd in their own manner - just some more than others. It seemed like a good idea, coming from Rai which was...a miracle. Rai wasn't the bright all the time, after all. "That's an amazingly intelligent suggestion, Rai," Sheeka commented. "If anything - the Varia would know a lot about what we should do - being pretty much at the center of it all..."
Sheeka glanced towards Vico, still rather ticked at him for completely ignoring him...and there he went again. Babbling about his family. None of them save Rai really cared about the history of this family...he was just sort of tooting his own horn, at least in Sheeka's opinion...unless he was just making this all up to try to get close to them? Sheeka wouldn't put it passed any enemies to do that to try to get at the Spiaggia, especially when they started collecting the Mare rings. Sheeka turned his head towards Rin, speaking in quiet Italian towards the girl he'd come to see as kind of an older sister type of person. "Avete intenzione di verificare la sua storia piĆ¹ tardi? Io non mi fido di lui a tutti. E 'troppo sospettoso ...(Are you going to check out his story later? I don't trust him at all. He's too suspicious...)" It was definitely very suspicious...at least to Sheeka and to Rin. Rai was definitely overly trusting, which hopefully one day...would not return to bite him in the ass. Sheeka had once been as trusted as that, but nearly two years fending for himself and learning that some people simply were not trustworthy had taken that innocence he'd once had away. Uh-oh, now HE was getting shouted at. Flinching at Rin's pretty justified bellowing and Sheeka's slightly more resigned but somehow even more brutal disappointment he waved his hands as if to defend himself "Woah, woah, hold it, a) Sayomi isn't 'new' she joined at the same time as Sheeka she just... vanished a bit. and b) I only heard about the Storm Guardian last night, he's from China I think" while he understood their annoyance it wasn't like he went behind their back to arrange it. He just had a rubber stamp with his signature on that saw way too much use by people other than him. "And if V's an assassin, I'd like to think he'd put more effort into it than hitting me with a car. That just seems lazy"
Raitaro listened with a reasonable amount of attention to Vico's story and realised with a minor level of embarassment he knew next to nothing of Spiaggia's history. As he thought back he remembered that his mother was technically the second boss, student of some dude with blond hair and that his dad helped refine her techniques or something? It was kinda fitting him getting involved in this Vongola Neo business, technically his family started at the same time; it just so happened they didn't have any competitors when it came to picking leaders.
Sheeka did genuinely seemed impressed by his idea and he found himself looking awkwardly smug, before his smile dropped and he looked vaguely offended "Wait, why is that surprising?" his sudden look of insult was quickly ignored as Rin and Sheeka began talking in... moon... speak? No wait! Vico clearly didn't understand either! Sharing a conspiratorially look, Raitaro tapped his nose as he seemed to realise what the two of them must be doing and turned away from Vico to look at Sheeka with a knowing glance "OK, so I guess Rin'd be best to see Arashi since he probably-might-sort-of have a something against me dating his adopted little sister, I guess Sheeka can follow some other leads and I'll see what our contacts can get while I play the delay game with my old man. So Sheeka... you speak girl language?" he nodded, that had to be the answer.
OK, so to try and explain this rather... well, this thought process. Here's what Raitaro knows Sheeka is talking to Rin, only Rin and Sheeka understand. Raitaro and Vico are boys and do not understand Rin is a girl and Sheeka is up for debate, and do understand. CONCLUSION! There is a secret girl language that they both speak.
It'd be nice to think a mafia boss spoke Italian wouldn't it?

Sheeka soon chimed in and questioned Raitaro on the identities of these two guardians that he had forgotten to mention. He soon detailed that one them was not actually new, while the other was from China. That little note immediately caused her to perk up interest. "China, huh? That should be interesting to see." She remarked, though it seemed apparent from the smile on her face that as usual the Rain Guardian was only thinking about one thing - competition. China was legendary for producing some the best fighters, what with it's myths of warriors and kung fu. Whoever this Storm Guardian was, he was likely to be rather strong, especially if Raitaro's father had already approved of him.
Rin listened as Vico explained his family's past and mentally taking notes. "White Sakura?..." Rin repeated in curiosity, committing the name to memory. Why did that sound so familiar? She pondered the matter a moment, but was soon committing a few other important names. 'Fushigi Tahei... Northern Kyushu...' Well, that was certainly enough information to give her some idea where to start. With her skills, it probably wouldn't take her long to dig up enough dirt to confirm or disprove Vico's story.
"Or he's studied your abilities and attempted to use something that would normally kill most people and make it look like an accident all at the same time. After all, how many pedestrians are struck by cars every year in hit and run accidents?" Rin questioned, her tone adding a somewhat sinister edge. Then again, Rin was rather dangerous in her own right and knew how to make things look like an accident. "We're just fortunate that the rest of your body is as thick as your head." She added, something of an obvious jab at Raitaro's somewhat naive nature and stupidity.
"Don't underestimate the abilities of an assassin. I would have assumed that bruise I left from breaking a sword over your head was enough to teach you that lesson." The Rain Guardian recalled, reminding the young boss that there was a clear danger. She liked Raitaro, but he tended to forget that despite their relationship, she wasn't simply a swordsmen. Although, when the Mist Guardian questioned what she intended to do, Rin quickly offered a nod in answer to her plans. However, it was what came out of the boss' mouth next though, that caused the young woman's face to turn a bright shade of red in annoyance as she tried to control it.
Rin attempted to stay calm, she really did, but that... that was unforgivable! Bounding down from the porch, she immediately reached up to grab Raitaro by the collar and yank him down to ear level to make the chewing out she was about to give him so much worse, especially on his ears."VOOOIII! What are you calling girl language, you idiot?! How dare you insult my first language! Italian is the language of the soul, of passion, and where the mafia comes from! Your a mafia boss and you can't even recognize Italian! Sheeka and I are both Italian by birth, we're obvious speaking our native tongue. Even the blasted name of the family is in Italian! How do you not know this, idiot?!" Rin barked, proceeding to chew the poor young man up one side and down the other, looking ready to strangle him for the offense.
After her rant, Rin immediately released with a huff in annoyance and dropped a finger into his face. "Voi! That's it! Until we meet with Onee-sama, I'm seeing to it that you at least learn how to carry on a conversation in Italian! I won't have you embarrassing us in front of the Vongola, understand?" She informed him sternly, not about to leave the matter up for debate. "If I can learn seven, you can learn a second one. Until that happens, you are not address me as your girlfriend until you can do so in Italian." The Rain Guardian explained seriously, though the final remark was meant to sting somewhat. It was no mystery that Rai and Rin liked each other, but when she pulled that ultimatum out on him, it usually meant she was dead serious and wasn't about to budge on the matter.

Vico tilted his head in confusion as he listened on to the three. They thought he was an assassin? Him? If they knew him better, they'd know he's as subtle as a bomb. Plus, the things they assumed he tried to do was just way too troublesome to even bother doing in his eyes. Why bother being sneaky and quiet when you can just punch them in the face and get it over with? Who cares if the person's stronger? Not him. But he kept that to himself and listened to them ramble on about their problems and suspicions.
Then came Rai calling Italian "girl language." While he didn't hear Sheeka speak Italian, he couldn't help but chuckle at Rai's comment on it. He stopped laughing when Rin angrily clarified it was Italian, which made Vico quirk an eyebrow. "Italian? Hmm... Non ho parlato italiano in un lungo periodo di tempo. E 'stato un po' che ho avuto una vera conversazione in italiano. Come sto andando fino ad ora? (I haven't spoken Italian in a long time. It's been a while since I had a real conversation in it. How am I doing so far?) He struggled a little, but still managed to get it all out without an awkward accent. Being a mix of three different nationalities, he was forced by both parents to learn their different languages, his mother with Italian and his father with Korean. It has its benefits, but the process of learning them was torture.
Seeing as how Rai was scolded a LOT by his girlfriend, Vico couldn't help but feel pity for him. She's feisty and a tad crazy in his eyes, but Rai didn't seem to mind. Vico sighed and crossed his arms as he looked at Rai with a grin. "Yo Rai, if you need help with Italian, I'd be willing to help. And before you think too hard, the word you're looking for is fidanzata, Rai." He wasn't sure if this would infuriate Rin, but he won't hesitate to help a bro.

Wait. Wait a second. Was Raitaro really calling Italian a 'girl language?' What did that make him? He most definitely was not a girl! While he may have some of the more feminine tastes - such as his stuffed animals and was rather short for a boy his age - actually, he was short for a boy in general...but it had always been like that. Sheeka was staring at Raitaro now, in slight disbelief that he would even think that. When he'd been about to open his mouth to retaliate, Rin did so for him, rounding on the teenager and chewing him out for his lack of knowledge of the italian language.
Once Rin had rounded on him, Sheeka's head turned slightly to hearing Vico talk in Italian. Oh. Of course. The /Yakuza/ boy knew Italian - and he was bloody Japanese! Raitaro was in a mafia family that originated in Italy and the Japanese one knew more. It was kind of embarrassing. He was suddenly worried about any sort of meetings with the Vongola if Raitaro was this...this...Raitaro-ish! He knew nothing of diplomacy. Well, neither did Sheeka to be honest, but he knew a little bit more than their leader did.
Sheeka let out a puff of air from his mouth before once again looking at Rai in the slightest bit on indignation, trying to remain calm...but it was hard. So hard. He'd just been called a girl! "Do I look like a girl to you?! Don't answer that - it's rhetorical! Just because I like cute stuffed animals and other cute things and I'm the average height of a girl doesn't make me one!" Giving Rai a rather dirty look about the matter, he then scowled at him, crossed his arms over his chest and pouted. Was he really that feminine that Rai would even consider? No. Of course not! There were plenty of boys who liked cute things, right? Raitaro's possibly expected reaction to finding out they were speaking Italian was to do a double take and look incredibly surprised at the two of them "Ehh? Ehhhh? Really? That was really Italian? Then what the hell have I been learning?" in retrospect being unaware what Italy's flag was or what the name for it was in English, getting a tape of phrases with no introduction may not have been the best choice. Scratching his head, he muttered under his breath "Я был уверен, что это был итальянский ...", which meant he had at least been trying to learn a language, it just so happened that it'd been entirely the wrong one. Still, his reaction to being told he wasn't allowed to do any relationship stuff until he could speak Italian was like a stake through Dracula's heart "Nooooooooooo! Please, I can learn, жене please!" because he wasn't about to give up and accept he'd learnt the wrong language.
Still, he had a way out as Vico rather helpfully offered up a word which Raitaro naturally grasped at as his life-line with a broad grin and a huge thumbs up, the usage of man telepathy conveyed his thoughts neatly "Vico, NICE!" before he turned to Rin and with his usual flair for the poorly worded, crooned to her "Ahhh, fidanzata, for you I'd learn any language as long as it could be the language... of looooove" Rai is saved from his idiocy as he was about to go for a smoochy face and lean in when Sheeka interupted handily asking if he looked like a girl. Seeing Raitaro's face and mouth opened to answer he added it was rhetorical
Sheeka's mini-tirade about how he wasn't a girl was met with Raitaro looking fairly blankly at him and culminated in him stuffing his hands in his pockets, spear expertly balanced from years of experience and nodding "Obviously, you're a double agent, posing as a girl to leak information back to us red-blooded males. Uhhh, not that I ever asked him to do that, Rin" Raitaro added hastily. There was no need to tell her that he once had to get a reminder what type of flowers he got on their first date or that time he asked what animal would be right for a stuffed toy for Rin (admittedly, he learnt a lot about stuffed animals that day, most importantly among that, that Rin would likely not enjoy one) "Though thinking about it, we probably should head home, I only even came out to find you guys when I ran into Vico who I am still claiming I knew before the car" gotta give him one thing, Raitaro stuck to his bros...

It probably would have been nice to say that this odd scene was unusual for the Spiaggia, but to Rin's shame, Raitaro's habit for tending to embarrass them was not all that strange or uncommon. Raitaro's attempt at defending himself though, only proved more frustrating and the Rain Guardian could only lift a hand to pinch the bridge of her nose in frustration. "Rai, that's Russian, not Italian." She explained seriously, though considering she spoke seven of the most common languages in the world, it probably shouldn't have come as much of a surprise that she understood every word he said. Still, Rin had to give him credit that his Russian really wasn't all that bad for someone who normally avoided studying like the plague.
Still, why hadn't he just asked if wanted to learn a new language? Raitaro always seemed to have no interest in leading or doing anything remotely normal with his life, so why bother attempting to learn anything. Letting out a steady sigh in annoyance as Vico suddenly seemed to inject with his own demonstration of the language seemed to confirm how much room there was for improvement. If some idiot like that already knew the basics, then someone from a family like the Spiaggia should have been able an equal, if not more qualified to demonstrate such ability. Well, so much for a secret conversations. That was irritating, though whatever calm Rin might have managed to regain was lost once more as he blurted out not only a word to help Raitaro, but the wrong one.
"VOI! Stay out of this, trash. He's my boss and if anyone's going to teach him, it'll be me. He doesn't need you to coddle him and he'll learn the proper phrasing." The Rain Guardian snapped coldly. The warning might have been harsh, but someone had to hold Raitaro to a standard or he would never live up to his potential as the Spiaggia Boss. However, before Rin could say much more, the boss interrupted again as he turned back towards her in a display that immediately caused her face to light up a dark shade of crimson, though it was difficult to tell whether she was upset again or extremely embarrassed it.
Rin reacted before she thought about it, throwing a hand up to defend herself and probably hitting him in the chin if Rai wasn't quick enough to avoid it. "B-baka! Fi-fidanzata doesn't just mean girlfriend. It means fiancee. If you say that in front of the families, they'll get the wrong impression." Rin stammered out, attempting to retreat and fight off the red stain on her face. God, why did she have to be cursed with such an idiot? Bad enough that he couldn't speak it, but he was trying to use the wrong words and apparently doing a rather talented job at embarrassing the daylights out of the young Rain Guardian. Then again, Rin had always been shy about their relationship in front of others, so his bold attempts in front of a stranger were clearly met with some resistance.
"Quit messing with Sheeka." The Rain Guardian spoke, though soon moved back to the porch. "The word your looking for... it's ragazza." Rin finally admitted seriously, glancing off to the side stubbornly. "However, that's still not getting you off the hook, understand? You need to know more than a few words." She reminded him sternly, not about to give him an inch for fear that he would avoid the matter completely. No, she had a responsibility to put the young boss through his paces. There was nothing wrong with strict discipline in training and Rin was living proof of that. Besides, they couldn't afford any mistakes in the meetings with the Vongola, it could very well determine the fate of the family and even of the possible outcome of the eventual battle that was to take place for the Rings.

So far, Vico was pretty intrigued by the three. They had a certain type of crazy that he found pretty funny, though Rin and Sheeka were pretty irritating. Sure they were mafia, but that doesn't mean that they had to be so suspicious... Oh wait, they did. But still, it was getting on Vico's nerves. Rai was the only one who seemed to be sane from the three. That or just too oblivious to the situation.
His thoughts were stopped when he heard Rai speak Russian. He blinked a few times before processing everything that just happened. To be able to not tell the difference between Italian and Russian... This guy sure is something else. Vico couldn't help but chuckle. "How could you mess that up, Rai? But hey, at least you know Russian now, so that's a plus."
Then Rin basically told him to shut up. A vein popped out of his forehead as he glared daggers at Rin. This girl definitely had no respect or filter. It surprised Vico how anyone could stand it. He put up with enough and decided to let his voice go through without knowing what could possibly happen next. "Good God you're loud... I'm trying to be nice and you're basically telling me to get the hell outta here. I didn't think the mafia would be so shitty... Yakuza scum's better than you." He scratched his head in annoyance and turned around. As he was about to walk away, he turned around to Rai with a friendly gaze. "Hey Rai, sorry about that. There's a small ramen stand in the southern side of the shopping district. Stop by anytime and I'll treat ya to some ramen."

"Really Rai? You've been learning Russian and you didn't realize that it wasn't Italian? Who has been teaching you so that I can yell at them for not pointing out to you that what you're speaking is Russian..."
He wasn't sure what Raitaro had said, considering he only knew three languages - none of which were Russian. Rin obviously did...he was kind of curious as to what was said...but he figured that it didn't matter, anyway. Sheeka merely sighed in exasperation. What was one to do with his moron boss? Part of him wondered if Raitaro was as stupid as he acted...Sheeka looked a little bit suspiciously at Rai for a moment before looking back at Vico, eyes widening slightly as he went and insulted Rin - saying she wasn't much better than Yakuza scum. Oh. God...Vico was going to die.
Part of Sheeka wanted to run interference on Rin's rage level at the moment, but even he knew at this point...Vico was screwed either way. He wasn't going to get in Rin's way - he didn't have a death wish of his own, unlike Vico. "Do you have a death wish? Or...are you just stupid?" Sheeka asked as he tilted his head to the side in curiosity, hugging his stuffed rabbit close to his chest with a sigh. "Well...at least we won't have to worry about another attempted vehicular homicide from you..." While he was still being his usual idiot self, Raitaro did at least take a minor joy in seeing Rin get all embaressed (even if it was at the idea of people seeing them together, it was still cuuuute) and he took note of it. He was thinking about maybe, sorta, just a little asking her to stop calling Vico trash as it was maybe just a little mean (car driving not withstanding) and he was at least giving him ideas how to speak Italian. Raitaro was prepared, his body was ready as he was poised to apologise, calling Rin his Ragazza he was stopped by Vico's sudden explosion of (pretty justified) emotion. His face dropped, a look of sheer horror on it as he unsteadily turned his head to stare at Vico and the man he could only think of as the bravest in Earth's History.
Catching his eye, Vico started saying how they should hang out again in future but Raitaro could only shake his head at him, trying to convey the magnitude of his screw up. "No! Vico, you beautiful fool, we'll never be able to hang out again! Rin's going to kill you so bad I won't even remember your name!" Sheeka seemed to rather calmly be explaining it, which was pretty vicious for the little guy but the two of them never did seem to get over the car accident thing. Raitaro, however, wanted Vico to live and he could see only one option. Temporarily rendering Rin so angry she wouldn't even be able to move or shocking her so bad the same would occur. And he could think of only one way. He gave Vico one last look, conveying through man telepathy "Soon we shall hang out bro, and eat Ramen" before turning to intercept Rin.
She was going to attack but before she could, Raitaro grabbed either side of her head, around the ears and pulled in the biggest sloppiest most poorly executed but world-moving kiss he could possibly muster.
He didn't run the risk of having his tongue bitten off, but using this brief moment of disbelief, he turned back to Vico and gestured that he needed to run before flashing a thumbs up. He turned back to Rin and suddenly realised how much trouble he might be in "Uhhh, you're pretty when you blush, Ragazza!" he ventured, fully prepared for what was to come next.

If it had ever been more obvious that Vico had no idea who he was talking to, then it was now. Rin was ready leave and had turned to head inside. Things could have ended as simply as that, but what came out of his mouth next caused her footsteps to stop almost dead in their tracks. That hesitation was never a good sign. Deserved or not, was rarely something that mattered in the mafia. However, there was one fact every member of the Spiaggia knew and that was no one got away with insulting Rin in such a manner, nor rarely lived to tell about it. Worse, this was Spiaggia territory and their base for the time being, Vico had made a mistake that he couldn't simply apologize for with words.
Her anger at Raitaro was nothing in comparison to what happened when Rin's voice lowered and that sword bag slipped down from her shoulder to be caught in her right hand. "Voi! You want to repeat that to my face, you worthless trash." Rin spoke in a growl, those red eyes narrowing on the young man in challenge. The killing intent in that look was unmistakable. When the Rain Guardian got that upset, she tended to loose track of anyone that wasn't an enemy. Even Sheeka was smart enough to avoid her, however, as despite his attempts, he'd only end up getting dragged in the process as Rin began to move forward.
The boss, on the other hand, was different story. As Rin continued forward, Raitaro stepped in front of her, reaching out to what she assumed to do was stop her and talk her down. However, as Rin attempted to protest, Rai managed to cut her off with the last thing she ever expected him to do - kiss her. Not just any kiss either, she'd known dogs whose kisses weren't as wet. The faint hesitation was only temporary as the need to breath suddenly forced her eyes open and recalled something rather important... They weren't alone. Even before Rin pulled away, it was possible to see the bright red shade that crossed her face and seemed evident as her temper flared to a level unseen by most of the Spiaggia.
What Raitaro failed to realize was that she spotted his motion to Vico to run. Of course, Rin was no fool, not by any means and immediately seemed to put together what he done. To kiss her because he liked her was one thing, as was doing so in public. However, to steal her first kiss as a means of distracting her was completely unforgivable as Raitaro spoke, attempting to excuse his actions with a little bit of Italian. It was more than Rin could take and without warning her hands settled on her shoulders seriously. With a hard yank, Rin intended to jerk him down into her knee as it shot upward, taking aim at his abdomen and intending to double the young man over before dropping him to the side.
"You stupid, insensitive, bastard!" She snapped, drawing her foot back to kick him with as much strength as she could muster. "I should kill you and then your stupid little friend. You are not my boyfriend, get that through your head! And if you ever do something that stupid again, you can find yourself another Guardian!" Rin warned coldly, making sure he understood how serious she was about the matter. Then again, it was clear when instead of chewing him out worse, Rin turned on her heel and started back towards the house, attempting to hide the faint expression of hurt as she passed Sheeka. She never threatened such a thing, but what Raitaro had done had cut much deeper than just her ego.
"Watch him, if you want. I'm done! He can get himself killed for all I care. I didn't sign up to babysit some insensitive jerk." She spoke in passing to the Mist Guardian, though Rin never stopped making her way back towards the house. Sure, she could occasionally be harsh, but the Rain Guardian was normally never that cold, speaking out of pain. Rin wouldn't dare show it to anyone though, especially not to Raitaro. No sooner had she stepped into the house, then the sliding door slammed hard behind her as she disappeared into the house.
