One of the two groups that rose from this schism were called the Notte Vongola. originating from the Italian word for night, this group was cleverly named as they were known for their actions from the shadows that were shrouded in mystery. The Vongola successors that come from this group commonly have a very weak flame compared to those in Giorno, but make up for it with their great intelligence. When it comes to how they accomplish things, Notte is the polar opposite of Giorno. The Notte focus on politics rather than fighting, preferring to avoid conflict rather than create it. [/style]

The Notte were were founded after the Neo Vongola Secondo died. Due to the fact that no one could decide on a Terzo and neither of the two candidates were give up their right to the spot, two subgroups of Vongola formed. Notte being home to the weaker flamed members of Vongola and having more of a political focus rather than the power that the Giorno have established over time.

» The Notte members are known for their weak flames but rely on their intelligence to overcome that obstacle. They are primarily a political family and are known to resort to use of wires, hidden cameras, and assassination to carry out tasks to secure the future of Neo Vongola. Though they are capable of assassination, they rarely ever do so unless the person poses a direct threat to the general people and Neo Vongola itself. Which is opposite to the Giorno, whom will use the direct approach to take care of threats.
