Boxes are made to only open for the flames that are made for. For example, a storm box will only open for a storm flame. However, Sky flames are able to open all the boxes; however they can not bring out the full potential of the boxes. Boxes can be used to store a number of things and that is their usual function. They are opened by channeling a dying will flame into the box through a ring.

3.01 Weapons- Box weapons are what they said. These are weapons that can channel flames and because of this factor, they can be stored within one of those handy boxes explained about for easy storage.

3.02 Animals- In the KHR manga; animals are considered closer to be box weapons and are usually referred to as such. These animals exhibit a personality of their own, a connection to their owner, as well as their own ability to use the same flame as the owner of their boxes. They are also highly intelligent.

3.03 Battery(Flames)- Boxes can also be used to store flames or any other useful items that you may need in combat.

These rings are especially important for the Guardians of a family. Rings rank from E to S ranked rings. E’s are the lowest and A+ ranks are the highest, S-rank rings are reserved for rings of the Trinesette and the Shimon rings.

3.3 Hell Rings- There are only six of these rings and they are highly dangerous. These rings are used by illusionists and mist flame users, however, it is highly advised not to use these rings because they possess an ability called “War Potential Doubling” which increasing strength in exchange for the soul of the user. These rings are incredibly powerful. Current locations for the Hell Rings on BNT is unknown. Currently ranked at A until otherwise stated within canon.

3.001 Ossa Impressione- One of the Hell rings, currently in the possession of Genkishi of the Giglio Nero famiglia. It’s main abilities involves linking souls, as seen when he created the semblance of Tsuna’s family attacking him and his Storm guardian later informing him that he’d had a dream about attacking him. The souls trapped within this ring can also turn into ‘scapegoats’ and take an attack for the user.

3.002 Segno- This ring is in the possession of the mysterious Kawahira and has the ability to hide murderous intent as well as their presence

3.003 666- A misfortunate ring currently in the possession of Mukuro Rokudo’s apprentice, Fran. Not much is actually known about the abilities of this ring besides the fact that is said that are 666 moments of misfortune, it will cause one time of fortune, however, this rumor is unfounded. This ring should be considered a high-risk ring…however if the user finds misfortunate as a good thing or simply doesn’t care, like Fran, it’s the perfect match.

3.004 Malocchio- In Mukuro Rokudo’s possession, this is another one of the hell rings and is said that those who have this ring glaring at them will lose their ability to think and be paralyzed by it’s ‘evil eye.’ It also said to be carnivorous and savage and has the ability to create tentacles out of mist flames.

3.005 Vine-Covered Ring- Possessed by Mukuro as well, nothing about this ring is known at the moment.

3.006 Horn-shaped Ring- This hell ring is a complete mystery.

3.4 Shimon Rings- The Shimon rings, while not a part of the tri-ni-set are just as powerful as the Vongola rings are. They are said to be fully activated by the blood of Cozart Shimon. Shimon Rings are S-ranked rings.

3.5 Varia Rings – The Varia Rings were designed and created for the Varia by Talbot at Xanxus’ request. They are passed down through the Varia guardians. Currently in possession of the previous Varia captain until a new one is named and other guardians are discovered. These rings are A+ ranked, they are stronger than most other A rank rings; however, they are not quite S-ranked.
