Everything he does revolves around making his perfect self stronger. Nothing else matters and everything else can be sacrificed to achieve this, his highly calculative mind has told him such. He does however dislike needless praise and as a result often ignores people who believe every single action deserves a pat on the back. His plans are often complicated, perhaps unnecessarily so, however they always achieve the same ends and sometimes even more than they originally hoped for. This is something I cannot stress enough, despite Masato's killer fighting style and tremendous power, his mind considered one of the greatest in the known world. He has taken this to heart and now looks down on people with a lesser mental capacity, believing that no one can reach this level of calculative perfection except him. He does have a rather large soft spot for his leader Kaya however, which has torn his personality in two. Having had little to no romantic interaction in his life before, he has no idea how to approach this, to the point where he becomes flustered and unable to focus around her. Masato would never admit that he felt such for someone of lesser birth of course, these feelings must just be physical attraction, right? ...Right? His protective instincts are very much an integral part of his character, realizing that without friends a majority of his power is lost. Resources are the key to winning wars after all, a statement that he has lived by him entire life. Of course, this is doubly so in terms of Kaya's well-being, having to restrain himself from helping her when she was in danger during battles and always trying to be around her despite knowing that this means a distinct lack of concentration on his part.

Being a master in the use of his wind and fire wheels or chakrams, it's only natural that Masato would base his powers around these. Simply, he wraps the edges of his chakrams in storm flames, before throwing one or both of the chakrams at a target. The rotational speed is immense but the shape of the chakrams make the flight path very hard to predict, even for the one throwing it. If the edge or flames of the chakram strike a target, it caused incredible damage with the storm flame's disintegrating power. 1 post duration, 2 post cooldown.

► BOX WEAPON

Ranheisha | 嵐兵車 | Storm War Chariot

A pair of wind and fire wheels or chakrams, these weapons can be used by well-versed practitioners with one wheel in each hand to slash, stab, parry, or disarm an opponent as well as use it as a medium-range, though very inaccurate, ranged weapon. The chakrams themselves are flat metal rings 38 cm (about 15 inches) in diameter with a blade along the inside and outside of the circle and six flame-like blade projections emerging from the rim of the circle. It has a dark blue hilt wrapping along the bottom edges, meaning they can be held without cutting the practitioner's skin.

These weapons are notoriously difficult to wield and awkward to throw, meaning that Masato can get tired easily while using them and throwing them is not only impractical and inaccurate but also leaves him partially defenseless due to the fact that he has to retrieve the chakram after it is thrown.

Ranhitokage | 嵐火蜥蜴 | Storm Salamander

A large, red-bodied salamander, Ranhitokage is a powerful beast to say the least. It's large size lends itself well to physical combat and gives it tremendous strength, though it's speed is lacking quite significantly. His ability is so vomit forth Storm Flames in a powerful stream focused entirely on the disintegration of other Flames. It's stomach expands rapidly, before the concentrated stream of scarlet flames shoot from it's mouth, with a range of around 30 meters and a duration of around 2 posts maximum. However, it cannot be used in succession due to the fact that, while Salamanders are generally resistant to fire, it does not mean they are impervious to it and as a result, Ranhitokage's mouth is severely burned on the inside after use and requires 2 posts to be healed again.

Kemuri Bakudan | 煙爆弾 | Smoke Bomb

Quite simply really, a standard issue smoke bomb for use in tactical situations or for escape. This particular smoke bomb was developed by Masato himself, using an outer separated layer of water in a fragile shell and an inner core of rubidium combined with a smoke-producing compound. When the bomb is thrown against something hard or the outer shell ruptured in some way, the water comes into contact with the rubidium, which ignites and releases a huge cloud of smoke which at it's maximum is believed to have a 20 meter radius.
