Out of the two twins, Alma seems to only have inherited the charisma, and sharp wit, while his twin has inherited the man's skill, and strength. Despite this Alma still has a big head believing himself to be among the tippy top of the Hitman hierarchy due to his heritage. • → During his mid to late teens Alma joined a small time mafia famiglia which originally confused him for his twin who sought out a descendant of Reborn to boost their famiglia's reputation. Through this famiglia, and the rest he'd join later on, the young man would gain the nickname Sfortuna Alma(Hard-Luck Alma/Soul) due to his clumsiness, and the fog of misfortune that seemed to follow him everywhere. • → This reoccurring cycle of joining, and being kicked out of various Mafia Famiglias, would send Alma to being picked up by the Gregoire Famiglia. It'd be this group that'd turn his life upside down in the worst way possible. Unknown to Alma, the leader of the Gregoire Famiglia had earlier been a member of another gang who had later on crumbled apart due to Alma's ill fortune. The only reason that the man had allowed Alma to join the famiglia was to ruin his life as he had ruined the famiglia. • → The Boss of the Gregoire Famiglia set it up that a mission went too far in that instead of only killing the Boss of a rival family that the entire family was wiped out. Absolutely no one was spared from the carnage; the boss, the guardians, the blood relatives of all them no matter if they were children, or elderly, they were all wiped out. It wasn't long until the Vindice were alerted with the crime set up that all evidence would point to Alma being the killer who even by Mafia terms went too far. The last thing Alma would see as he was dragged away by the Vindice Jailers was the smiling face of his former boss. • → Only five years would be spent in his sentence before a certain man used his influence to free Reborn's grandchild out of Vendicare prison. The aging leader of the independent assassination squad; Varia, either saw something in the young hitman, or thought there was potential in a descendant of Reborn. A contact was formed between Xanxus, Alma, and the Vindice that he'd be freed from Vendicare if he joined the Varia though if he ever broke this contract and left Varia then he'd be thrown back into the prison. • → His time in the secondary Varia squad allowed his abilities to flourish; developing his own style, and the skill known as Tequila Morso; an ability that caused the body to numb from nerve signals going to fast to be registered by the brain. Along the way a one-sided rivalry with his squad's leader; Arashi was formed believing him to be too young, and inexperienced to be running the secondary squad. While Alma matured, and grew stronger as a hitman due to his time in this squad, he still is not at the level of his Grandfather's, nor his twin. • → Arashi's accession into fullblown leader of the Varia simply snapped something within Alma; he simply didn't believe the younger man did not have the stuff needed to run the Varia. Soon after being appointed the organization's leader Alma challenged the new Boss of Varia only to lose after a lengthy battle. As soon as he recovered, Alma left the Varia, and there by breaking his contract with Xanxus causing him to be wanted by the Vindice. • → Despite leaving the Varia, Alma still holds onto the Varia's Sun Guardian ring. Even with this in mind, Alma has apparently retired from the Mafia World, and owns a bar located in Namimori City. While retired he does work between Famiglias; selling, and collecting information on either; there are few things that Alma is not aware of that goes on in Namimori. Throughout his Hitman career, Alma has only ran into his twin more than a handful of times, thought since his "retirement" Alma has been openly seeking him out. ► inventory check "SFORTUNA ALMA" ► AFFILIATION Stand-In Forest Guardian of the Shimon. Formerly Sun Guardian of the Varia. ► ALIGNMENT Chaotic Neutral. ► FLAME ATTRIBUTE & ABILITIES -{Sun Flames} - The flames of those who stem from the bloodlines of the Arcobaleno Reborn burn with the brilliant passion of Sun Flames. Alma is one of the few people who can use the Activation Ability in an offensive matter instead of primarily using it to act as medic. Unlike its typical use, Alma looks down on the idea of using Sun Flames to heal. ► BOX WEAPON -{Tequila Alba} (Tequila Dawn) - Alma's box weapons are a quite strange one, looking as if someone glued the blade of a katana to the barrels of a set of pistosl. Meant to be disguised as a pair of katanas when the two barrels of the pistols are out of sight and what furthers this disguise is the wooden sheaths meant to house the long protrusion of the pistols, This also makes for easier holstering due to the sheath being able to freely hang along from a belt, or holster. A perfect fusion of firearm, and bladed weaponry, Tequila Alba allows for a secondary method of attack for if one runs out of bullets, or if the gun jams. Both pistols are typically held by the clip stationed on the top of the barrel, with the pinky curling around the trigger. ** Forgoing Box Animal Ability, and Flame Ability for Two Box Weapon Abilities -{Tequila Jardín} (Tequila Garden) - Being the type of person who abhors the use of Sun Flames solely for healing, and backup, Alma has discovered a way in which he can use his flames offensively. Though honestly this ability isn't really an ability. but rather the effect of a new found ammunition. Taking advantage of the Sun Flame's Activation effect, Alma uses a new form of bullets; these bullets themselves are made of a brittle metal that crumbles after being fired. The key is what is in the bullets which are seeds of an unknown variety of plants, and are charged with sun flames before being fired, and in fact are the reason the brittle bullets break apart. The point of this technique is not to attack, but actually to restrain, and immobilize the opponent to the point where they have to choice but to give up. Prior to firing this technique, Alma will charge his guns with sun flames which will take a few minutes (a quarter to half a post), and can drain him pretty quickly if used in rapid succession. Once charged, and fired, the sun flames activation effects will speed up the growth of the seeds growing them into menacing creeping vines that will tangle around the opponent. Spurred by the activation effects of the sun flames, these vines will keep growing, and entangling around the opponent unless they can burn the vines off or complete remove them from their body. What separates this from the previous technique is that instead of the opponent, Alma will fire these seed bullets into the ground around them. After firing Jardín del Edén, Alma will be completely drained, and will need a while to regain his strenth(5-6 posts), though this technique should be able to grant him the needed time. Spurred by the activation effects of the sun flames, these vines will sprout up from the ground forming into a wild bush of throned creeping vines that will reach out to entangle anything that is near them. This does include the weakened Alma. Just like when a single bullet is fired, these vines will keep growing, and entangling around the opponent unless they can burn the vines off or complete remove them from their body. [Duration: Indefinite | Cooldown: 5-6 posts] ► BOX ANIMAL -{Salamandra del Sereno } (Sun Salamander aka Leon VI ) - Throughout the generations of the Reborn Descendants those who have received a lizard-type box animal have carried the tradition of naming it Leon; after the Arcobaleno's chameleon. Alma is not one to square away from tradition, and with that said has named his own box animal Leon, or more specifically Leon VI. Slimy, and eel-like in appearance, Alma's box animal is no more than a jet black salamander decorated with small faint speckles of yellow with only a faint glow of Sun Flames encasing its body. While its body is similar to regular salamanders in that has "poison" gland located on the colored portion of its body,these glads seems to secrete a sticky mucus of liquid sun flames rather than poison. If this sun flame secretion has a general purpose, or if it is simply the box animal's interpretation of the regular animals defensive abilities is unknown. -{Masilla de Sol} (Sun Putty) - Salamanders naturally produce, and secrete a foul tasting mucus in order to protect themselves from predators, but the Salamandra del Sereno is a bit different. This little lizard secretes a gelatinous goo made out of condensed sun flames that act as a quick patch job to mild injures; though this isn't by any means a complete, and total solution to wounds. When the small salamander secretes the sun flame goo, one simply rubs it into the wound to allow it to take effect. Rather than causing rapid cell growth, this ability activates the body's coagulation ability, supercharging it to create blood clots no matter the wound. The charged globby gel of Sun Flames causes the area bathed in the flames to start primary hemostasis; where the body uses platelets to form a plug at the site of injury then to form fibrin strands to strengthen the plug. Honestly this is more like a temporary patch-up job to prevent the target of the technique to bleed to death rather than healing them directly. In addition the Masilla de Sol acts as a bit of a bandaid itself as it helps protect the wound as should it be removed, the affected area would be weak against attacks. [Duration: Indefinite | Cooldown: 3 posts] ► EQUIPMENT -{Giardino Proiettilil} (Garden Bullets) - Unique bullets made by the Bovino Famiglia specifically for Sun Flame users, these bullets are made of a lightweight, and fragile metal allowing for them to break up into shrapnel milliseconds after being fired. The selling point to these bullets are the seeds hidden in the center of them that take produce various affects once charged with sun flames thus accelerating their growth. ► MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS -{Varia Sun Ring } - Typically worn around his neck connected to a long silver chain is the Varia Ring of the Sun Guardian. While Alma may not long be in the independent assassination squad known as Varia, he has chosen to remain the holder of the ring as if to secure his position if he ever chooses to go back. The ring itself is composed of a silver band that holds, and outlines a dark orange gem stone that has been sculpted into the shape of a shield. Upon this shield is the faded image of a lion standing on its back legs positioned as if it is about to pounce on its prey.
