Mitsu no Waza: Hiraishin
Inazuma Soujutsu's third technique, Hiraishin or Lightning Rod, used as a defensive measure the attack uses the spear as an interception to block attacking opponents. After assuming the stance, Rai begins moving the spear rapidly in a figure of eight with both ends being used to cover an area roughly forming a spear. If performed with Raku Raku, the spear converts into Flames and these flames widen the range somewhat. When an attack comes in, Hiraishin is designed so the spear will block it and provided Raitaro is focusing he can also return the attack if it's a projectile. It's notable for being a defence against Dying Will Flame abilities, the Hardened Lightning Flames will often pass through the attack and reduce it to smaller amounts meaning the flames themselves are often too weak to damage Raitaro or anyone behind him.Of course, particularly powerful flames will still get through but anyone around the same level of Raitaro will find their attack dissolved through simply being torn apart. Technically, this works offensively too but Raitaro's stationary while doing it so unless someone throws the opponent INTO the whirling lightning they won't get damaged by it. Raitaro can only keep it up for 1 post and it recharges for 2.
Weapon: Rakurai
The spear used by Raitaro is actually a restrained version. While Raitaro liked to call it Raku Raku, it's true name is Rakurai. In order for the weapon to assume it's true form, Raitaro firstly needs the Lightning Mare Ring on his hand and secondly needs to actually be determined to fight with all his will. While he still won't be killing the foe, he absolutely cannot afford to lose and this spark of will power activates the spear. The actual haft doesn't change but the blade becomes a jagged green lightning bolt, composed of pure lightning flames. In this state, it's sharp enough to carve through steel like butter but when it strikes living things the foe is merely shocked by large amounts of electricity. It matches Raitaro's mental view of not wishing to take a life but having no issue with inflicting large amounts of bodily distress in the process. The spear doesn't technically improve Rai's fighting capabilities but since it only appears when he's actually trying to fight hard you'd be forgiven for making the mistake. It's also got the nickname Muzukashi which means difficult to counterbalance Raku Raku meaning easily.
Yotsu no Waza: Shuuraisaki
Meaning Lightning bolt Tip, One of the techniques that Rai can, technically, performed without Rakurai but it's missing most of the key elements. Raitaro levels the spear and makes one quick sharp thrust. The Dying Will flame blade shoots out and launches from the spear, piercing through inorganic and discharging large voltages into the opponent when it connects with a living thing. It takes 1 post for the blade to regenerate so it leaves Raitaro bladeless for the counterattack. His preference is to launch the attack in the air striking directly downwards. The added gravity makes the attack faster and also tends to strike like a literal lightning bolt, damaging the earth and ground around it. He can of course do this with a regular spear or Raku Raku but it won't extend and shoot out it'd just be a particularly sharp thrust. It takes 2 posts to prepare for another one, even though the blade recovers faster.
